How to Use

• Board Setup: Choose how wide (X) and tall (Y) the grid is, and density of lines, then click Draw Pattern.
• Choose Click Action: Clicking can either rotate a square tile, or recolor the clicked polygon. Toggle using the button.
• Reset: Instantly set all tiles to a specific direction.
• Symmetries: You can rotate more than one tile at a time.
  • Cartesian: means tiles related by translation or mirroring about the x or y axis are also rotated.
  • (X/Y) Translate: Set at which number the pattern repeats, 0 for non-repeating.
  • (X/Y) Mirror: Use the checkboxes to mirror about the x or y central axis.
  • Rotational: Each tile related by a 90 degree rotation about the center point is also rotated.
  • Quadrant: Rotates all tiles in the same quadrant simultaneously.
• Colors: Set the number of colors, pick a palette, or cycle through colorings.
• The auto-coloring will (try to) respect the symmetries selected.
• Download as PDF: Save your current pattern as a PDF.
